Donating My Hair

Earlier this morning I went to the hairdresser

I grew my hair very long

I decided to get my locks cut off

I will be donating my locks to make wigs for children with cancer

A great start

Seems like everything is starting to fall into place, everything that I wish for

I have just got a call for an interview at a local cafe, found a BEAUTIFUL apartment and I will be starting university in a few months

Nothing can wash away my smile (:

Finally, I finished sewing!

Took me 8hrs non-stop, phew ;P

I decided to make a rucksack
I love rucksacks, but probably because I always lose purses >.<

I used this pattern

But I did make some changes...
I made the rucksack 2" smaller in height
added a liner with pockets for my cell and wallet

and is made of green denim

This is the first time I made banana bread and I am very pleased of how it turned out

Not the most attractive cake I made, but I feel the need to post something ;P

This cake is your basic chocolate cake

I made a cream cheese, coconut flavoured frosting

The middle is a creamy coconut filling

The cake is topped with shredded coconut and decorated with cherries

Wow! Lately so many things have been happening, all very positive

I have been accepted into university for fall, met many great people in the tourism course I am currently taking and many more events.

I can't describe how thankful and happy I am
